  • This training program equips participants with the skills and techniques to effectively elicit, analyse, and communicate requirements. The participants will learn the fundamental concepts of business analysis and the most essential business analysis techniques at an appropriate depth. This is a full-fledged training for those aspiring to start a career in business analysis.

  • This training is also suitable for those who are working as a Business Analyst but have never undergone any formal training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or an MBA

  • Understanding the need for Business Analysis (preview below)

  • Understanding the role, responsibilities, and skills expected from a Business Analyst

  • Introduction to the fundamental concepts, and tasks in Business Analysis

  • Learning the art of elicitation and basic elicitation techniques such as interviews, document analysis, observation etc*

  • Understanding the tasks in Requirements Analysis

  • Learning the fundamentals of Requirements Analysis techniques such as -

    • Process Modelling using Flowcharts

    • Use Case Modelling*

    • State Diagrams

    • Conceptual Data Modelling

    • Business Rules Analysis

    • Prototyping

    • Non-functional Requirements (NFR) Analysis

  • Guidance to get into a Business Analyst role

 

* Only Elicitation and Use Case Modelling are delivered as instructor led video lectures (recorded in instructor's own voice) with live Q&As; everything else is delivered as instructor led live sessions.

Preview

Approach

  • Instructor led virtual live/ online sessions and hands-on (mail-in) exercises

    • After each sessions on business analysis techniques, you'll be provided a (15-60 mins) hand-on exercise which you need to complete before your next session.

    • Instructor will review your work and you'll be provided feedback in the next session.

    • If you have any post-session queries, instructor shall resolve them in the next session.
